Developed in collaboration with Sonic Tools USA, this program introduces a Tool Retention Component, elevating employee loyalty and ensuring long-term retention.

How Does the Complete Technician Retention Program Work?
Leveraging the foundation set by TCP training, graduates are presented with a Sonic Quick Service 190-Piece Toolset and cart. Alternatively, they can choose to apply the dealer’s contribution of $2766 towards upgrading to the Basic 255-pieces Toolset.  While the technician would cover any cost difference, the 24-month employment commitment remains unchanged. This approach not only gives them the means to invest in their future but also equips them with the tools vital for success.

Offering the chance to obtain an enhanced toolset not only strengthens the bond between the technician and the dealership but also ensures the dealership has a motivated and well-equipped employee. Many novice technicians lack the resources to get a high-quality tool set, but with the dealership’s support through this initiative, they receive a robust base to expand upon. After fulfilling the 24-month employment tenure, the technician gains ownership of these tools, fostering commitment and boosting staff retention.
