Technician Retention Program: Comprehensive Package

How Does the Comprehensive Technician Retention Program Work?
Building on the groundwork of TCP training, graduates are offered a Sonic Quick Service 190-Piece Toolset and cart. They also have the choice to use the dealer’s contribution of $2766 towards a more comprehensive toolbox. Though technicians would bear any additional costs, the dealership will offer them advantageous financing options.  We recommend the dealership offer 0% financing over a 24-month span, in line with the employment agreement. Pairing the option to upgrade the toolbox with these appealing financial terms allows the technician to acquire an expanded tool collection. This gesture also highlights the dealership’s commitment to the technician’s long-term employment and advancement.  The dealership would bear the cost of the enhanced tool package, amounting to $6,537, inclusive of shipping.  Subsequently, the technician would owe a 24-month note of $3,771 to the dealership.
