The TCP educates technicians on the benefit of working at a dealership and its career opportunities. The program incorporates recruiting new technicians, developing internal employees, and retaining them.

The Technician Career Path outlines the following opportunities:

• Technical School
• Apprentice Programs
• OEM-supported Schools
• Hands-on Training
• On-Site Training

Each entry-level employee will be given the plan to become a full-time Certified technician and be paid for working at the dealership while receiving training. They will also learn about the opportunity for financial assistance with tool purchases and ongoing education and certifications.

The TCP exposes technicians to future career opportunities in Fixed Operations and Executive Positions such as Shop Foreman, Service Manager, Fixed Operations Director, and even General Manager. Many of our TCP trainers have taken this career path and provided guidance and inspiration to young techs.
